2020 Winter Program Announced

Calgary Redbirds Baseball is pleased to announce the details of our early 2020 Winter Program. This program will contain a combination of the following skillsets: Pitching, Hitting, Fielding and Catching.
The program will start January 12, 2020 and run for 8 weeks.

ID Camps and Drop-ins

ID Camps

Players need only attend one ID Camp Session, however you are welcome to attend as many as you would like. Players born 2007 or Earlier are welcome to attend (13-19 years of age)

ID Camps will be for all three teams

  • 19U Travel Team (American Legion AA/AAA)
  • 18U AAA Midget Team (Baseball Alberta)
  • 15U AAA Bantam Team (Baseball Alberta)
Come dress for baseball - Indoor Turf Shoes or Indoor Runners will be required

We Are Hiring

Calgary Redbirds Baseball Club is looking to round out the coaching staff for the 2020 Season. Teams include:

  • 19U Travel Team (American Legion AA/AAA)
  • 18U AAA Midget Team (Baseball Alberta)
  • 15U AAA Bantam Team (Baseball Alberta)
These 3 competitive teams will be based out of our Gladmere Diamond (The Bird Nest – 30th Ave & 30th St SW) and compete in competitive tournaments throughout SK/AB/BC and NW USA. The 18U and 15U teams will also play a full Baseball Alberta schedule.

Successful candidates will be good communicators, have passion and respect for the game and significant focus on player development. Previous playing and coaching experience required in addition to NCCP coaching requirements. These are paid coaching positions and Honoria will be determined based on experience. Dale Bratz Commits to WTC

Dale Bratz, a long time Calgary Redbird, committed to play baseball at Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
